This is a great opportunity to join in the celebrations. There’s something for everyone: theatre, literary events including readings and book signings by a host of authors, story telling, film nights, folk music, dance, poetry, genealogy, exhibitions, guided walks and much, much more....
Angus Council Officers and Councillors will join local Community Councillors at morning service in The Glens and Kirriemuir Old Parish Church on Sunday 9th May at 11.15am.
As that day is the 150th anniversary of the birth of Sir J M Barrie, Rev Malcolm Rooney has kindly agreed to include some celebration of this milestone in the service.
Members of Kirriemuir Heritage Trust, Barrie relatives, the international visitors coming to the “Celebration of Imagination” festival and its sponsors will also be guests in the congregation.
